Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp butter salted or unsalted
  • 2 slices pumpernickel bread
  • 2-4 slices ham either deli ham or from a leftover ham
  • 1 Tbsp blueberry bbq sauce
  • 3 ounces brie

Instructions

  • Butter one side of each piece of bread.
  • Layer the sandwich: 1 piece of bread butter side down, 1-2 pieces of ham, 1 Tablespoon of Blueberry BBQ Sauce, 3 ounces of brie, 1-2 slices of ham, second slice of bread butter side up.
  • Place the sandwich on the tray of the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven. Select Air Fry and set the temp to 375°F/190°C. Set the time for 10 minutes. Flip after 5 minutes. Then Air Fry for 3-5 minutes or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes on a cooling rack. Cut & Serve.

Homemade Blueberry BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp chipotle
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients in the order they are listed into the Ninja Foodi Hot & Cold Blender. Select the cook mode on high an cook for 5 minutes.
  • Move the liquid and solids around with a long spatula and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Move the liquid around again and cook another 5 minutes.
  • Cancel the cook mode and select the smoothie function. Allow to cool slightly so it thickens up. Serve and enjoy!
