- ¼ cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp Crown Apple Whiskey
- 1 Tbsp Bourbon
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup apple butter
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp fine grind sea salt
- ½ tsp chipotle powder
- 2-3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar Optional, see notes in recipe
Add the ingredient is the order they are listed and select the Dip function.
When the time is up, carefully remove the lid and Enjoy your BBQ sauce!
*** I accidentally omitted the cider vinegar when I filmed the video, but I usually put 2-3 Tbsp in the apple butter bbq sauce. This bbq sauce was delicious in the video, so I have switched that ingredient to optional.
The only difference between the two is the cider vinegar does make it a little snappier with a touch of tart.
Use your judgement and you can always add the vinegar after cooking to see which you like better.
