Ninja Foodi Baked Potato

Simple & Delicious Jacket Potato that you can top with all your favorite toppings!

  • 2 8 ounce Russet potatoes
  • 2 tsp avocado oil or any oil you like
  • 1 Tablespoon coarse sea salt
  • salt & pepper to taste

Optional Toppings

  • sour cream
  • butter
  • green onions or chives
  • bacon
  • cheese


  • Wash the potatoes and poke holes with a fork on both sides of the potato. I usually do about 3 pokes with the fork on each side. Spritz the potato skin with oil of choice. Place the coarse sea salt on a plate and roll each potato in it.
  • Place the potatoes in the crisping basket or on the crisping plate and select the air crisp function on 400°F-450°F (varies with air fryer). Set the time for 45 minutes. You don't need to flip the potato, but can halfway through the cooking time if desired.
  • When the 45 minutes is up, the internal temperature should be around 210°F/99℃ which is the perfect temp for a potato. If it hasn't reached that temp yet, you can AC longer.
  • Immediately after you remove the potatoes from the basket, cut a slit or two in the top to release the steam if you want to keep your skin crispy.
  • Top with all your favorite toppings and enjoy!


Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill Instructions
Prepare the potato the same way as described in the recipe. Select the A/C function on 450℉/230℃ and bypass the preheat function. On the XL grill, you do that by pressing the preheat button and it will tell you to add the food and bypass the preheat time. Place the potatoes in the basket of the grill and air crisp for 30-35 minutes or until the internal temperature is 210℉/99℃
