    The right tools and utensils can set you up for success in the kitchen. Here is a list of my favorites that work great with the Ninja Foodi.

    Kitchen Tools

    From measuring cups to scales, having the right set of tools to measure ingredients is important for success in the kitchen.

    United States

    Measuring Cups & Scales

    • Liquid Measuring Cups (4 cup, 2 cup, 1 cup, ¼ cup from Pampered Chef, these are what I use)
    • Dry Measuring Cups (1 cup, ¾ cup, ⅔ cup, ½ cup, ⅓ cup, ¼ cup)
    • 1 cup Measure All for Dry & Wet ingredients (they come in three sizes, but this is the one I use the most with the plunger)
    • Measuring Spoons (1 Tablespoon, ½ Tablespoons, 1 teaspoon, ½ teaspoon, ¼ teaspoons, ⅛ teaspoon)
    • Kitchen Scale (this is the one I have, but you can get a less expensive one)
    • Prep Bowls (Dollar Tree)
    • 1 cup Prep Bowls with Lids
    • 2 cup Prep Bowls with Lids
    • 3 cup Prep Bowls with Lids

    Thermometers

    • Instant Read Thermapen Mk4
    • Pampered Chef Dual Purpose Thermometer

    Small Utensils & Tools

    • EVO Oil Sprayers
    • Silicone Basting Brush
    • Silicone Bands for 360 meals
    • Silicone Covers
    • Jar Lifter
    • Large Scoop N Drain
    • Mix 'N Chop
    • Mix 'N Mash

    • Scoop 'N Spread

    United Kingdom

    The Salted Pepper cannot guarantee quality of the items listed below because they have not been tested in our kitchen. However, we did diligent research on each item and feel they are of similar quality as what is used in The Salted Pepper kitchen.

    Measuring Cups & Spoons

    • Liquid Measuring Cups (4 cup/1,000ml, 2 cup/500ml, 1 cup/250ml)
    • Dry Measuring Cups & Spoons (1 cup/ 250ml, ½ cup/120ml, ⅓ cup/80ml,¼cup/60ml, ⅛ cup/30ml. 1 Tablespoon, ½ Tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, ½ teaspoon, ¼ teaspoons, ⅛ teaspoon)
    • Combination Dry & Wet Measuring Cup with Plunger
    • Kitchen Scale
    • Prep Bowls (see The Salted Pepper's UK Amazon store for more choices)

    Thermometers

    • Instant Read Thermometer (I have used this one and it gives a fast reading, however, it only lasted about 6 months for me because I dropped it in the sink)
    • Combination Instant Read & Probe thermometer (I chose this one based on reviews only)
    • Thermapen Mk4

    Small Utensils & Tools

      I bought precut parchment paper to fit inside the crisper basket which helps clean up. I wonder what you think of that. Do they impede cooking? I have read that if you put them in the basket while warming without food inside, they can float and if they touch the element, they can cause a fire! I've not experienced that myself, but they do help with clean up. By the way, they're available on Amazon.ca.

        I think anything that impedes the airflow could potentially affect cooking, but I don't see any reason you can't use them. I wouldn't personally preheat with them in, just for the reaason stated. The fan can certainly cause them to fly up into the grate.
