Nothing says "I care about you" more than a homemade food gift around the holidays. Whether it is a tin of cookies, some candy, or a delicious jam or jelly, people LOVE getting food gifts!

The Ninja Foodi Digital Oven is great for baking up those cookies!

AND, the Ninja Foodi Blender does a great job at making up bbq sauces!

Put the appliances you have to work and make some incredible food gifts for the holidays this year!

I decided to gather some of my favorite recipes all in one place for you to browse through and see what strikes your fancy. All of the recipes are easy to make and most of them are fairly quick as well!

Holiday Food Gifts for the BBQ Lover!

There are so many different kinds of BBQ sauces you can make up, jar up and deliver with love OR, you can make up some spice rubs and package them up.

I used to own a BBQ resturant, so BBQ sauces and rubs are right up my alley. If you have a griller or smoker in your life, these will make perfect gifts!

10-Minute BBQ Sauce is a traditional tomato based sauce that is considered a Memphis style BBQ sauce. It's super easy to make and you can make a large batch at once.

Tie a bow on the jar and you have a great homemade food gift for the holidays.

If you want a bbq sauce with a less traditional flavor, you might like to make this Apple Butter Bourbon BBQ Sauce.

The apple butter bourbon BBQ sauce goes perfectly with pork or chicken.

Or give the gift of blueberry bbq sauce which is spectacular on chicken wings and even makes a great grilled ham & cheese sandwich!

I also have a spectacular BBQ rub for ribs in this recipe for Ninja Foodi Ribs!

The rub pairs perfectly with the Raspberry BBQ sauce for a great combo gift!

Holiday Food Gifts for the Spread, Dip, & Jam Lovers

Making spreads, dips, jams, preserves, jellies, and marmalades is one of my favorite things to do. You can make such a variety that you will have the perfect gift for everyone on your list!

Jalapeno Pepper Jelly is a very economical gift to make and it's super easy!

Banana Jam is outstanding and a unique type of jam that you can't find in stores.

Orange Marmalade is another favorite. It is delicious as a spread or can be turned into a marinade or even a dip.

Homemade French Onion Dip is a must for the chip lover in your life! It is so much better than the store-bought variety and super easy to make!

Cranberry Cheese Ball is another great holiday gift to give in a basket with some gourmet-style crackers.

  • jalapeno pepper jelly on crackers with cream cheese next to a jar of pepper jelly and a block of cream cheese on a wood board.

Holiday Food Gifts for the Cookie Lover!

The holidays always bring with them tons and tons of sweet treats and many of them make perfect gifts!

From holiday cookies, candies, to sweet breads and cakes, everyone loves to receive a homemade sweet treat!

If you want to box up some beautiful cookies that scream holidays, it's these pecan balls! I like to go to the dollar store and look for cute containers to pile the pecan balls in and it's instant gift wrap! Easy Peasy!

Almost everybody loves a good chocolate chip cookie and these cowboy cookies are the BEST! They are the perfect combination of crunchy and chewy. This is probably my all-time favorite cookie!

Cowboy Cookies

You don't even have to MAKE the cookies to give them as gifts! Simply layer the dry ingredients into a large mason jar, attach the recipe and tie a bow on it! I just saw some at a local specialty store near me and they were beautiful for gift giving!

If you really want to WOW someone, make up these Christmas Biscotti cookies and pair them with a nice coffee mug or a specialty coffee or tea. Not only are they gorgeous to look at, they taste amazingly like Christmas in a cookie!

If you'd rather make up a special cake or sweet bread, these two are sure to please everyone!

They are made in smaller cake pans, so they are the perfect size for boxing up and giving as gifts.

Holiday Food Gifts for the Candy Lover

Candy gifts are my love language for sure! I LOVE making candy and giving it away as gifts. I know some feel like making candy is tedious and difficult, but I quite enjoy it!

It seems like each year, I latch onto a certain type of candy and make tons and tons and tons of it! One year I made about 30 varieties of truffles. I really have to get some of those recipes on my website for next year. They make beautiful gifts!

This year, I made several different kinds of candy and bar cookies, so I have quite a variety to share with you. All make great gifts! Some of the recipes haven't been released yet, but I will definitely add the links when they are.

Although Chocolate Covered Cherries do take a little time to make, they are super easy to do and unbelievably good! Better than the store-bought ones, for sure. Make sure to make them a full 2 weeks before you gift them to someone so the centers are liquified.

Another great and VERY EASY candy to make are Peppermint Patties! You only need a few ingredients and one batch makes a lot of them! They are perfect to stack and wrap a clear plastic around and tie with a bow for a simple gift.

Caramel Popcorn is another great food gift for the holidays!

Rocky Road Fudge is one of my favorites and this recipe is very simple to make and it's all done in the pressure cooker!

Pecan Bars with a Shortbread Crust are easy to make and work perfectly on a cookie tray!

Homemade Toffee makes the perfect gift, a little goes a long way. You can get several gifts out of one batch easily.

  • Caramel popcorn in a wire bowl
    Caramel Popcorn
  • Rocky Road Fudge cut into squares
    Rocky Road Fudge
  • pecan bars cut and piled up on a sheet pan
    Pecan Bars
  • chocolate covered homemade toffee in a bar pan with pieces broken up

I have a few other recipes coming out over the next few weeks that also perfect for food gifts. So, while I can't share the recipe links yet, I can share the pictures!

Louise & Jeff
